Without too much of thinking let me start with how I felt the need to start a blog :
1. EVERY other person I know has a blog of his/her own ( a few even have 2-3!)..
2. My work.. the IT & Telecom industry is always hit with new products, innovations, news, technologies etc. and one has to know of the latest ASAP. If that was not difficult enough – I wasn’t much of a master of what ‘was’ or ‘is’ in the industry… I wanted to try catch up, try get to the bottom & top of things.. I decided I’d study something new everyday, and for keeping a record – blog about it..so there arose the ‘I had to blog’ realization..
3. I’ve been reading on how blogging helps in so many ways (profession & personal) & well.. I’m game for good advice.. I wanted to blog.
4. An admission – I was impressed with a few of my friends’ blogs & I was wondering whether I could also be of the impressive blog types 
.. maybe later on I’ll let the world in on who impressed me & somehow got to be the reason for me starting a blog!(when my pride allows – should take quite a long time lol)
